When you connect the 1x40G cable to the N3000. what is the output of fpgainfo phy? UP or DOWN?
I just found that result changes all the time,
e.g.1 e.g.2 e.g.3
Port0 10G : Up : Up : Down
Port1 10G : Down : Up : Down
Port2 10G : Down : Up : Down
Port3 10G : Down : Up : Down
Port4 10G : Down : Down : Down
Port5 10G : Up : Up : Up
Port6 10G : Up : Up : Up
Port7 10G : Down :Down :Down

Hi @fzhan51 , When you say 1x40G, it is only 1 port at 40G, right?
Or, Do you mean 4x10G instead? Because the the card can only support 10G per port.

1 port at 40G --> it makes sense it will FAIL because the card supports 10G per port
4 port at 10G each --> it makes sense it will PASS because the card supports 10G per port
Im not sure there is such cable as 1 port at 10G --> then this will further confirm my explanation.
Btw, 1x40G is NOT EQUAL to 4x10G !!
