Memory DE-70

Hello,

I have a question about the memory of the FPGA. I use the kit DE2-70 and some IP from Altera (FIFO, RS coding and FFT). By adding a new block, the compilation fail because apparently there is not enough memory (M4K). However I use that 85% of the internal memory of FPGA. Only the ip uses memory.

Is this normal?

Is there any way to configure the ips it uses for other types of memories?

A build option?

Thank you for the help.

PS: sorry for my english!
