MAX II programming cycles: 100?

Hello, I really liked the little MAX II Micro Kit (Terrasic), until I've found it out in the MAX II family datasheet (table 5-3) that the total number of erase/write cycles to the configuration...

As far as I see, there is no option to load the configuration to SRAM directly, every reconfiguration involves reprogramming of the CFM. I wonder however, if the expectable endurance is actually near to the said 100 programming cycles? Most CPLD have a minimum of 1000, and hopefully MAX II can stand it typically.
