How to make LED blink on Cyclone III Starter Board

I'm a complete newbie to the Quartus platform, there is a LOT of literature that I'm still going through but could somebody please walk me through (or point me in the direction of) implementing a VHDL file which causes one of the LED's on the dev board to blink.

    I found the "my_first_fpga_tutorial" download with all its inaccuracies and that helped me out. :)
