How to get the MAC address of DE2 dev?

Hi ,I wonder how to get the MAC address of the network card on DE2 dev.Thank you very much in advance!:)

    The MAC address is set up by the software when it starts. IIRC it reads it from the on-board flash, in the last sector.

    i have the same Problem, i am working with the Altera de2 board and with DM9000A Eternet controler .

    your problem is resolved?

    Is it true that can reads it from the on-board flash, in the last sector?
