Hot socketing vs. Power-up sequence for Cyclone V

    Hi ,

    The confusion for you is with regarding the page no:391 of the below document.

    https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/hb/cyclone-v/cv_5v2.pdf

    The recommendation is for the Minimum current draw during the cyclone V power up sequence. And as mentioned in the Hot socketing section to provide the power in any sequence for the VCCIO, VCCPD, and VCC power supplies. As VCC is coming in Group 1,.

    It is not mandatory to follow the power up sequence.

    Reference page no: 317

    The hot-socketing circuitry monitors the VCCIO, VCCPD, and VCC power supplies and all VCCIO and VCCPD banks.

    You can power up or power down these power supplies in any sequence
