Hi, We are using max10 fpga and in the fpga code to convert from 25MHz to 10kHz , the maximum count value of the counter is given a value of 12499. Could anyone please describe how to calculate this value? Thanks

Would you like to share code here? so that one can get clear idea about way of coding.

BTW, Prescaler value can be calculated using Freq_in/Freq_out.
