HELP == SRAM Buffer for video

Hi,

I a newbie on video processing. I've just successfully read the image data from a camera by using verilog, the way I do is store the data inside DE2 SRAM only then show on LCD via VGA port.

I want to improve my system to have feature like live view on LCD but I don't have any knowledge on the RAM buffer.

How can I make use of the SRAM as a buffer for my camera to have a live view on LCD, just like the normal Digital Camera on the market... Anybody can share your experience
