Fastest interfacing with microcontroller

Hi,

Wish to know about what is the fastest way to interface (communicate) with microcontroller? And any example about the implementation?

Going to use the Max 10 series, 10M04SCU169C8G.

Fast parallel method?

SD/SDIO?

CAN?

    Hi,

    Some microcontrollers have their proprietary interfaces. You can build a custom logic for that. Other way is to use interfaces like Avalon or AXI interface. You can find some design examples on Design Store for Intel® FPGAs. Quartus too has IPs in its IP catalog.
