error: cannot add flash programmer object file to the top level.

hi,

i am trying to program the QSPI flash. When am trying to download it using the JTAG through the programmer its giving the error saying cannot add flash programmer object file to the top level.

am trying to follow the steps from the manual

    Hi AKAYA,

    Can you provide the screenshot of the error (include the error ID code )?

    When you generate .pof file, did you choose mode "internal configuration"?

    And, if you are using Intel MAX 10 Dev kit, please set the SW2 to default value.

      thanks for the reply...

      while generating the .pof file, according to the manual it should be set to 1-bit passive. so, i have set it to the same.

      other thing is am not using the Max10 Dev kit, am working on a customized board then how to set those switches?

    In your custom board, did you using 512Mb CFI flash?

    The manual is based on MAX 10 Dev kit (have 512Mb QSPI flash). You need to select the correct QSPI based on your custom board.

    The SW2 used to bypass JTAG and HSMC. You no need to worry is your board dont have this switch.

    Can you sent your screenshot of the error (include the error ID code )?
