Hello! Could you please confirm if the metal plate/heatsink on the EPF10K20RI208-4N can be black/gray in color, as shown in the photo? Photos of the label and the IC are attached. Thank you! ...

Hi,

PCN states top plate has been changed to anodized aluminum. This material can have different colours, including black. I however can't detect if the part top on your photo actually includes a metal plate or is in total plastic molding. You can check yourself by scratching it, e.g. with a screwdriver or needle.

Flex10k is obsolete since long, doubt that you get specfic support from Altera/Intel.
