Embedded Systems Development Kit - HSMC to Santa Cruz/USB/Mictor Card

Hi all,

I am a newbie to this development kit ( http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-emb-dev-cyc3.html ) and was wondering if anyone got the HSMC to Santa Cruz/USB/Mictor ( http://www.altera.com/literature/manual/rm_thdb_sum_board.pdf ) daughter card working ?.

I was thinking of using it to access a SD card but did not find any IP core for it or any way of accessing the daughter card in sopc builder.

From reading the documentation on the card by altera and the 3d party vendor i get the impression that i need to develop IP interfaces before using the them? the problem is where how to access the HSMC interface from the FPGA ?

any help would be great
