Default Startup for DE2 Board

Hello,

I am new to the DE2 board so please bare with me.

Normally when I start the DE2 board it comes up with the default "Welcome to the DE2" and the LEDs are flashing and numbers are counting, all is happy. Some how one of our boards starts with no display and dim LEDs. I can download the DE2_Default demo and that works but the next time I re-power the DE2 board it is back to blank.

What is the method of getting the DE2_Default program to be the default power-up state. If someone can point me in the right direction that would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

    To store a configuration permanently, you have to download the *.pof file to the EPCS16 in AS mode (RUN/PROG switch in PROG), as described in the user manual.

    Thank you muchly. I kept missing the "Active Serial Programming" mode in the programmer.
