DE2 Karaok Demonstration - Retrieve Sound Data

Hi All,

I would like to analyze the sound data that i captured from microphone.

I noticed that on the DE2 Demonstration, there is a Karaok-Machine program.

I tried to run the program. I found that i can only hear my own voice when i speak very near to the mic.. then it only works at some interval of times.

May i know, any one here run the program smoothly b4?

With the purpose to analyze the input sound signal, may i know which variable is indicating the sampled sound data? I tried to go through the code. But I found difficulties to understand it properly and identify which is the sound data...
