DE0 Nano - USB comunication to/from windows based applications

Question

I'm wondering on how to comunicate between a windows based application (C/C++ or so) with a Nios II into the DE0 Nano from Terasic via the USB already provided.

My request to Terasic for a tutorial or a demo project from wich to start on got a negative answer due to confidentiality of the docummentation.

The schematics provided with the dev kit are not completed from the USB point of view neither.

I am looking at the same problem too. I am exploring the possibilities of utilizing the VJI (virtual JTAG interface). Hope that helps.

I don't know if this will help. SOPC -&gt; Communication -&gt; Serial -&gt; JTAG UART core.  More info in http://www.altera.com/literature/ug/ug_embedded_ip.pdf Chapter 6. JTAG UART
