Honored ContributorDE0 Nano - USB comunication to/from windows based applications
I'm wondering on how to comunicate between a windows based application (C/C++ or so) with a Nios II into the DE0 Nano from Terasic via the USB already provided.
My request to Terasic for a tutorial or a demo project from wich to start on got a negative answer due to confidentiality of the docummentation. The schematics provided with the dev kit are not completed from the USB point of view neither. Thanks for your advice.2 Replies
Altera_ForumI am looking at the same problem too. I am exploring the possibilities of utilizing the VJI (virtual JTAG interface). Hope that helps.

I don't know if this will help. SOPC -> Communication -> Serial -> JTAG UART core.
