Cyclone 5 C Compiler

What C-Compiler is most used with Cyclone 5. We have been using Eclipse but has multiple errors

    Altera Quartus 18.1
    We're using it because it was the last to have preloaded Eclipse available.
    We were using the latest Quartus earlier and having problems executing a proper Eclipse installation
