Control panel DE1 Help !!!!

Hi, I want to ask you if there is a more complete manual about the use Control panel on DE1 board, I want to connect my own designs to a User Port of SDRAM controller but I dont know how to do it, can you help me please?. The DE1 user manual (page 17) says that It is possible.
