For the mature status of your website , can we consider it as Not Recommended for new design
As we have an old source from Altera products that your bought, and there are this comment "The table below summarizes the mature products that Altera no longer recommends as design-in products"

The answer to your question is Yes. Kindly consider to used latest FPGA for new design.
