Can PC communicate directly with DE2?

Hi everyone!

this question has been perplexing me for some time. Does DE2 support communication with PC directly?

I mean, can PC give the stimulus to the board during simulation? I've known we can use SignalTapII to probe the output node interested

    I'm not sure what do you mean by direct.

    You can use the In System Source and probe to give some stimulus.

    It is, some degree, similar to signal tap, since you can monitor signal at same time.

    In System Source and Probe is in Megacore.
