15 years agoBuying DE0-nano...
I saw some promotional material for the DE0-nano today, and it had me convinced: I want one! Only $79!
Then when I entered my order at terasic, they want $36 for shipping and $30 for money transfer. That almost doubles the price. Suddenly I'm no longer interested. So does anybody know if there are any resellers that will ship one to me for around $80 without so much of the additional costs? I can understand that the DE0-nano is too new for a regular terasic-reseller to have it already. So I'm also interested in shops that also sell the DE0 (at normal prices), I'll just wait for them to start carrying the DE0-nano. (Digikey resells some terasic boards, but not the de0, so I'm not expecting the 'nano from them......)18 Replies

Thanks for the heads up, this product looks great.
Does this product includes any IDE? Is it possible to run DES / AES samples? - Altera_Forum

Hey guys,
For those of you interested, Terasic is holding a contest to win the DE0-Nano. Head to www.event.terasic.com and answer the question, "What would you do with a DE0-Nano?" to join! - Altera_Forum

--- Quote Start --- The Digikey part# is P0082-ND They are almost out. There where about 40 of them when I ordered one 2 weeks ago. --- Quote End --- There were "about 0", but "coming soon" when I checked them out the beginning of april. I'm guessing they ordered 40 or 50 to check out market need..... (the product wasn't in their database at all a few weeks earlier.)
