Altera DE2 150 board simulation problem

Hello everyone,

I have an Altera DE2i-150 board that comes with (Quartus II v. 12), but now when I install it on my PC the software part (which is the University Program VWF) is not included in the new file, which means I cannot do simulation of my projects. How can I overcome this problem?
