1. What is dual channel mode in DDR4? 2. How to enable dual channel mode in Arria 10 GX board?

The design requires accessing DDR through 2 channels using seperate DIMM. The target device is Arria 10.

One other clarification would really help i.e., suppose i have two DIMM's, can each DIMM be connected to separate EMIF IP?

  1. If yes, can each EMIF IP support maximum bit width of 144 bits?
