Re: License setup for questa on red hat i would assume that intel knows that if a system is binary 1:1 that it is in fact identical... License setup for questa on red hat i first posted on another thread stating i also have a problem setting the license up https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-FPGA-Software-Installation/Unable-to-checkout-Questa-License-error-on-Linux/m-p/1494353#M5060 but since i dont get any reply there i will try creating a new thread instead. Re: Platform Designer Nios HDL generation If i got this correct (can someone verify?) when i talked with people from mathworks, there is no problem with mixed verilog and vhdl when creating a design and programing your target with, but it can (could?) be a problem when doing simulation. And people working on fixing that solution just happend to generate verilog code from simulink and it just became the way for solving the problem, and it has become a sort of non-problem. but i asked them this very question when i met them during my education. Re: Unable to checkout Questa License error on Linux two nic IDi have two network interface's which may be the reason.. im not sure, but that was a problem when trying to generate a license. Re: Unable to checkout Questa License error on Linux I have a similiar error but i am on AlmaLinux (which is 1:1 binary compatible with RHEL) i have everything working except simulation
