Why Triple Speed Ethernet Shows Implicit Net Warning?

Description

The reset_n for pause generation stand/stop frame synchronizer is not driven properly. This causes reset_n to be stalled at VCC (inactive). Check the synthesis report for the following:
    • altera_eth_tse_std_synchronizer:XOFF_GEN_SYNC
    • altera_eth_tse_std_synchronizer:XON_GEN_SYNC
;reset_n;Input;Info;Stuck at VCC

If reset_n is stuck at GND, this feature will not work.

Resolution

There is no workaround for this issue.
This issue is fixed version 16.0 Update 2 of the Triple Speed Ethernet IP core.
