Why the Agilex® 5 FPGA MPU hang when accessing higher memory regions?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3.1 GSRD and earlier, when the Agilex® 5 FPGA HPS MPU access memory regions greater than 2GB this will cause the system to hang. This is because the higher memory bank region was not mapped in the MPU Table.

Resolution

This problem is resolved in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v25.1 GSRD release. u-boot-socfpga tag is QPDS25.1_REL_GSRD_PR.
