Why is the HPS I2C_EMAC bus routed through FPGA IOs not working on Agilex™ 5 SoC FPGA?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2 and earlier, the HPS I2C_EMAC bus may be unresponsive when routed via FPGA IOs.

Resolution

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in the next release of Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
