Why is the Agilex™ 5 GTS transceiver reset indicator asserted without the GTS transceiver reset signal asserting in a simulation?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.1, you may see the GTS transceiver reset indicator asserted at the start of the simulation even without the GTS transceiver reset signal asserting in the simulation.

This problem only happens in simulation but not on hardware.

Resolution

To work around this problem, follow the proper reset sequence described in the Chapter "3.8.6 Run-time Reset Sequence - TX + RX" in GTS Transceiver PHY User Guide at the start of the simulation.
