Why I cannot enable the configuration bitstream encryption in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1 and earlier for Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA ES devices?

Due to Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA ES devices not supporting Design Security Features, Configuration Bitstream Encryption is not available in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1

 

 

Resolution

You can expect these features to be supported in Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA Production devices.

 

Improved documentation regarding Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA ES devices' security limitations will be available for Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1
