Why does the TSE signal rx_recovclkout or Native PHY signal rx_pma_clkout not toggle in Cyclone® V

Description

Due to an issue with Quartus® II software v13.1 and later, when using Cyclone® V devices with A9, C9, or D9 Member Codes, the Native PHY signal rx_pma_clkout or TSE signal rx_recvlkout may not toggle in some transceiver locations.

Resolution

A patch is provided below for Intel® Quartus® II software v14.0 and v14.0.2.

• Download the version 14.0 patch 0.32 for Windows (.exe)
• Download the version 14.0 patch 0.32 for Linux (.run)
• Download the Readme for the Quartus II software version 14.0 patch 0.32 (.txt)

• Download the version 14.0.2 patch 2.12 for Windows (.exe)
• Download the version 14.0.2 patch 2.12 for Linux (.run)
• Download the Readme for the Quartus II software version 14.0.2 patch 2.12 (.txt)

You'll need to recompile your project after installing this patch.

This issue will be resolved in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® II software.
