Why does the R-Tile Intel® FPGA IP for Compute Express Link (CXL) Debug Toolkit fail to launch without any error message?

Description

 Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.4, when using the R-Tile Intel® FPGA IP for Compute Express Link (CXL) Debug Toolkit, the debug toolkit fails to launch without any error message.

Resolution

To work around this problem when using the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.4, download and install the following patch:

• Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v22.4 Solution Patch 0.14 for Windows (.exe)
• Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v22.4 Solution Patch 0.14 for Linux (.run)
• Readme for Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v22.4 Solution Patch 0.14 Update (.txt)

 

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1.
