Why does the latest Intel® Arria®10 SoC Angstrom packages not support the devmem function?

Description

The Intel® Arria®10 SoC GSRD16.0 Angstrom supports devmem function, but the latest Arria10 SoC Angstrom doesn't support the devmem function. Due to Intel PSG do not officially own Angstrom and currently have no use cases on it, devmem is not included in the latest packages.

Resolution

It can be installed manually by using opkg.

The steps are as below:

1.        opkg update

2.        opkg install devmem2
