Why does the Intel® Stratix® 10 DisplayPort* example design generation fail with the Windows* operation system?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software for Windows* version 19.4 or eariler, the Intel® Stratix® 10 DisplayPort* example design generation fails with errors like those shown below:

Resolution

A patch is available to fix this problem for the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 19.4. Download and install the patch from the appropriate link below. 

• Download patch Intel® Quartus® Prime 19.4 Patch 0.21 for Windows (.exe)
• Download the Readme for Intel® Quartus® Prime 19.4 Patch 0.21 (.txt)

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 20.1.
