Why does the GMII channel fail when using the CPRI webcore IP on the Intel® Stratix® 10 E-tile devices?

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro software versions 20.1, the GMII channel may fail when using the CPRI webcore on the Intel® Stratix® 10 E-tile devices.

Resolution

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro software version 20.3.
