Why does the F-Tile JESD204C IP report an error with specific data rates?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2 and earlier, you may see the error below when you set a specific data rate(i.e. 27843.75 Mbps) when using the F-Tile JESD204C IP.

"Error: j204c_f_rx_tx_ip_intel_jesd204c_f.intel_jesd204c_f: Please update 'Data rate(870.1171875)' divided by 32 is dividable under 6 decimal places"

Resolution

A patch is available to fix this problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2. Download and install Patch 0.11 from the appropriate link below.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
