Why does the F-Tile HDMI Intel® FPGA IP Design Example not work and output no display?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1, the F-Tile HDMI Intel® FPGA IP Design Example does not work and outputs no display.

 

 

Resolution

A patch is available to fix this problem for the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1. 

Download and install Patch 0.18 from the following links:

• Version 23.1 Patch 0.18 for Windows (.exe) 
• Version 23.1 Patch 0.18 for Linux (.run)
• Readme for version 23.1 Patch 0.18 (.txt)

Once applied patch, regenerate the design example from Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software. 

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
