Why does the Audio Embed Intel® FPGA IP fail to generate with the Intel® Stratix® 10 device when using the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.2 ?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.2, the following error message will appear when generating the Audio Embed Intel® FPGA IP in the Intel® Stratix® 10 device:

 

Error: audio.audio_embed_0: "Device Family" (FAMILY) "Stratix 10" is out of range: "Arria 10", "Agilex"

Resolution

A patch is available to fix this problem for the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.2.

 

Download and install Patch 0.24 from the following links:

• Version 22.2 Patch 0.24 for Windows (.exe) 
• Version 22.2 Patch 0.24 for Linux (.run)
• Readme for version 22.2 Patch 0.24 (.txt)

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
