Why does my simplex Arria 10 device Native PHY IP generate duplex dynamic reconfiguration files?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime software version 14.1.a10s and earlier, you may see simplex instances of the Intel Arria® 10 Native PHY IP generating duplex dynamic reconfiguration files. For example, an RX-only variant will generate reconfiguration files that contain TX and RX data.

Resolution

To fix this problem upgrade to Quartus Prime software versions 15.0 and later.
