Why does Intel® Stratix® 10 device with OPN 1ST210EU3F50E3VGS1 fail to configure in Avalon-STx16 or Avalon-STx32 configuration mode when using Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software release version 18.1.1?

Description

Due to a known problem with the SOF file generated in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software release version 18.1.1, the Intel® Stratix® 10 device with OPN 1ST210EU3F50E3VGS1 may fail to configure in Avalon-STx16 or Avalon-STx32 configuration mode.

Resolution

Use Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software release version 18.1 to generate the SOF file for the 1ST210EU3F50E3VGS1 device. This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future Intel Quartus Prime Pro software release.
