Why do separate encrypted POF and EKP programming fail when using Verify Protect in Intel® MAX® 10 devices?

Description

When the Verify Protect option is enabled in Intel® MAX® 10 devices, you may see the Intel® Quartus® Prime programmer fail to program an encrypted .pof file when the .ekp and .pof files are separated.

Resolution

To avoid this issue, you will need to integrate the .ekp into the .pof and program both together.
