Why do I see unexpected throughput results when running the R-Tile Avalon® Streaming FPGA IP for PCI Express* Performance Design Example?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2 and earlier, unexpected throughput results (as shown below) may be seen when running the R-Tile Avalon® Streaming FPGA IP for PCI Express* Performance Design Example in Gen5 x16 mode.

PERF WRITE GB/s: 1374
PERF READ GB/s: 1374

Resolution

The problem has been fixed starting with version 23.3 of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
