Why do I see functional errors in hardware when implementing Intel® Arria® 10 LVDS outputs with an output enable?

Description

Intel® Arria® 10 devices do not support LVDS outputs with an output enable. 

Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.1 and prior, this illegal implementation did not result in an error message but did not actually implement the output enable.

Resolution

To avoid this problem, do not include an LVDS output with an output enabled in your design.

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1.
