Why do F-Tile Serial Lite IV Intel® FPGA IP and F-Tile Interlaken Intel® FPGA IP designs have intermittent hardware failures using the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1, you might encounter intermittent hardware failures for the F-Tile Serial Lite IV Intel® FPGA IP design and F-Tile Interlaken Intel® FPGA IP design with the following symptoms:

• Data corruption
• High BER Rate

 

Resolution

There is no workaround available.  However, you might find the design working well by reprogramming the device and rerunning the hardware tests.

This problem will be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
