Why are the Quartus Project File and Quartus Settings File not automatically included to archive when “Project source and settings files” was checked?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Software Standard Edition version 17.0 Update 1 and earlier, the Quartus Project File (.qpf) and Quartus Settings File (.qsf) are not automatically included when you select the “Project source and settings files”. This problem occurs only for Arria® 10 device.

Resolution

To work around this problem, you can add both files manually without checking the “Project source and settings files”. This issue had been fixed in Quartus Prime Software Standard Edition version 17.0 Update 2.
