Why are the F-tiles in the Agilex™ 7 FPGA and SoC device unresponsive for my design compiled with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1 on the Windows* OS?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1, F-tiles in the Agilex™ 7 FPGA and SoC devices are not correctly configured when the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software project is compiled using the Windows* OS, and the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software is installed on a different drive than where the project is located.

 

Resolution

To work around this problem, download and install patch 0.15 for the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1 and recompile your design:

• Patch 0.15 for the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1 for Windows (.exe)
• Readme for Patch 0.15 for the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software for Windows (.txt)

 

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2.
