TCP DSTREAM Connection Fails with Trace Enabled

Description

If you try to start a DS-5 debug configuration that connects to the target using DSTREAM over Ethernet, and the 4 GB DSTREAM trace buffer is enabled, the connection fails. You see a message similar to the following:

Failed to open connection to DSTREAM trace server at <hostname>

Resolution

Add "TCP:" as a prefix to the host name of the target DSTREAM device. For example, if the host name is device1.example.com, specify the connection target as TCP:device1.example.com.
