Description

You can use the following workaround to use the Define New CFI Flash feature without all system administrator privileges of Windows OS on your PC when using the Windows version of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Software.

Resolution

If you are not given all system administrator privileges of Windows OS on your PC,  request your PC administrator to grant the full access control of the following registry:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altera Corporation\JTAGServer
