Is PHY Loopback supported using the Triple Speed Ethernet IP in Cyclone® V or Arria® V devices?

Description

Serial Loopback is not supported in Arria® V or Cyclone® V devices with GX transceivers.

The Triple Speed Ethernet (TSE) user guide states that "The serial loopback option is not supported in Stratix® V and Cyclone® IV devices with GX transceiver."

Resolution

Details regarding Arria® V and Cyclone® V devices haven't yet been included in the TSE user guide.

This paragraph will be updated to state that Arria® V and Cyclone® V devices do not support PHY Loopback, either.
