Description

Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.4, you might see this internal error during the Fitter stage. This problem only occurs when targeting Intel® Arria® 10 devices.

Resolution

To work around this problem, change the following fitter setting:

1. Go to Assignments > Settings > Compiler Settings > Advanced  Settings (Fitter).
2. Set Periphery to Core Placement and Routing Optimization -> OFF.

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2.
