Internal Error: Sub-system: AMM, File: /quartus/db/amm/amm_atom_mod_util_impl.cpp, Line: 2199

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime software Standard Edition version 17.0.2 and earlier, you may see this internal error when you compile an Arria® 10 design that contains External Memory Interfaces(EMIF) and has design partition enabled. EMIF which is the harden block does not allow design partition to be enabled.

Resolution

To work around this problem, you need to disable the design partition for EMIF block.
