Description

When generating the Altera PLL megafunction targeting Cyclone® V devices, the file appears to be generated correctly, but the log file generates this info message:

Info (20034): Auto device selection is not supported for Cyclone V device family. The default device, is 5CGXFC7C7F23C8 set

The message is incorrect and will not affect your PLL settings and compilation.

Resolution

The message is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® II software.
